About us

We make watching worth showing up for.

Samuri, LLC builds Samuri, a free-to-play prediction contest platform for online creators and the people who watch them.

What we are building

A creator publishes a video and hopes people show up. The people who do show up watch, maybe comment, and leave. There is a lot of energy in that moment and almost no structure to it.

Samuri gives it structure. A creator picks an upcoming premiere or livestream and writes a few prediction questions about what will happen in it. Fans enter for free by subscribing to the channel and locking in their picks. When the video goes live, entries lock and the leaderboard starts moving — every answer that reveals on screen reshuffles the standings while the audience watches.

The result is a video people arrive on time for and stay to the end of, an audience with a reason to subscribe, and a creator who can point to exactly how many of those subscribers the contest actually caused.

Samuri is free for creators and free for fans. Creators fund the prizes they choose to offer; we run the game underneath — the questions, the verification, the scoring, the live leaderboard, and the payout.

What we hold to

Principles.

  • Free means free

Fans never pay to enter a contest, and creators never pay to host one. There is no entry fee, no in-app currency, and nothing to buy that changes your odds. A prize means a prize.

  • Engagement has to be verifiable

An entry only counts when it maps to an action the platform can confirm — a real subscription to a real channel. Numbers that cannot be verified are not worth reporting.

  • The creator owns the audience

Samuri is a multiplier on an audience a creator already built, not a scheme to move that audience somewhere else. Contests point back at the channel, always.
